Are You An Entrepreneur Who Is Fed Up With People Who Are Only Interested In Themselves?

Let me tell you a quick story about experiences I had as a waiter and later a business owner … and what you can learn from it.

When I was a waiter and still new in the game of restaurants, I thought it was a remarkable job.

Customers would smile and be friendly. Sometimes, I would get tipped more than 20%. I got showered with praise and compliments. They would recommend friends to ask me to serve them when they visit.

That was really cool.

The downside was when they would be downright rude.

They will sometimes swear at you for something which wasn’t even your fault.

They would bark at you.

They would degrade you and have you feel like shit. (Who hasn’t worked for a boss like that?)

Sad but true. A restaurant I was working at, there was a regular customer who viewed waiters as dogs and insisted only being served by the owners.

Not even a manager was good enough.

What is the point of all this Reinhardt? Why are you sharing this with me?

Well, my friend.

People are only interested in themselves. They do not care about you. Period!

They are only interested in what you can do for them.

They only care about how you are going to solve their problems and make their pain go away.

They only care about how you can give them a feeling of importance.

They want you to value and respect them for who they are.

They. Need. Your. Love … And Compassion

It’s a BIG thing to give. It’s not easy, never will be.

If you want success in life, you’ve got to help people get what they want.

You’ve got to want to serve.

You’ve got to forget about yourself, and only be concerned with the person sitting across from you.

I can testify to that when I became the owner of a coffee shop and closed it two years later because I made it about me.

I paid the price because people vote with their wallets, and they will go to someone who listen and care about them.

So, here’s what you may want to consider as it relates to what you and I just shared.

You may want to order a copy of Dale Carnegie’s book on “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and study it intensely.

Or you may want to investigate how a 30-Day Challenge will empower you to enrich peoples’ lives, while making money, and saving you valuable time.

Thanks,

Reinhardt
