Discover The He(art) of a Barista

This is me at Coffee Box in Pretoria, June 2011.

I want to tell you a quick story about the heart of a Barista.

I love coffee, and I love a strong Americano with hot milk and two sugars, please.

Around the corner from my office is a shipping container converted into a small coffee shop with outside seating overlooking a bustling and thriving Menlyn Maine.

The Barista, Sibusiso, reminds me so much of myself. He is passionate about coffee, and he prepares every cup with excellence. His Latte Art is superb, and his skill, supreme.

I used to be a barista, and I loved every moment of it. What I loved more was that with every cup I served, I served someone with more than just another cup of coffee. I was serving people with love, passion, and good energy.

Now, some years later, I don’t make coffees anymore. Instead, I am finding a creative way to fulfil my vision. The vision to become delightfully wealthy and in the process of becoming, to inspire and empower others to realise wealth for themselves.

I enrolled for The Creative’s Workshop, which is hosted by Seth Godin and Akimbo. Over the next three months, I look forward to connecting and collaborating with other creatives to clarify how I can realise this vision.
