Patiently Virtuous

Some say that patience is a virtue, and it is.

Patience, like most things in life and does not come naturally. It is a skill, and when something is a skill, it can be learnt.

Although I don’t have a wikiHow recipe for acquiring patience, I know this; patience keeps you from making moronic blunders. It enables you to attain great wealth, influence, and power over time.

The wealth, power, and influence to create the change you want to see in the world.

All you must do daily is to get up, dress up and show up. Do what you must do that day and concern yourself only with the tasks you have at hand.

Do not spend your time contemplating yesterday’s gains or losses and do not spend a moment planning for every possible contingency which may or may not arise tomorrow. There will be time and resources enough to deal with those things.

Focus on diligently performing the tasks you have for today.

Know that every good thing will happen; the grass will grow again.

All things will happen at the appropriate time and thank God it is not for you to supervise the creative forces at work.
